About

I am an archaeologist and specialize in the archaeology of northern hunter-gatherers. Recent projects include research on obsidian sources in Alaska and their geochemical characterization, the Arctic Small Tradition in northern Alaska, archaeological surveys on the Alaskan Peninsula, and the origins of fluted projectile point technology in Alaska. I am currently the acting curator of Archaeology at the University of Alaska Museum of the North and and also work as an archaeologist for the National Park Service in Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve and Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.
